収集するデータ

Tab Sound Recorder は、個人情報を一切収集・外部送信しません。録音データはブラウザ内にのみ保存され、外部サーバーには送信されません。

録音データの取り扱い

録音はすべてお使いのブラウザ内（ローカル）で処理されます
録音データは外部サーバーに送信されません
録音データはプレビュー・保存・履歴表示のためブラウザ内のローカル領域（IndexedDB）に保存されます。録音履歴が無効の場合はリセット時または次の録音開始時に自動削除されます。録音履歴が有効の場合は最新 10 件がローカルに保持されます
録音中の中間データはブラウザ内の OPFS に一時保存されます。再試行可能な保存失敗時は再試行または明示破棄まで保持し、参照されない一時ファイルは 24 時間の猶予後に削除されます。復旧に必要な recording ID と形式などのメタデータはブラウザ内の chrome.storage.local にのみ保存されます
波形データ、編集内容（トリム・ゲイン・ノーマライズ・コンプレッサー・EQ）、未保存の編集ドラフトもローカルにのみ保存されます
MP3 / FLAC エンコード用の WebAssembly は拡張機能パッケージ内の同梱ファイルのみを使用し、外部サーバーからコードを取得しません

使用する権限

権限	目的
`tabCapture`	録音対象タブの音声ストリームを取得するためのみに使用
`offscreen`	バックグラウンドで録音を継続するためのみに使用
`alarms`	録音予約機能で Service Worker 再起動後もスケジュールを維持するためのみに使用
`notifications`	録音開始・完了をシステム通知で表示するためのみに使用
`storage`	表示言語・テーマ・ツールバー動作・ファイル形式・通知・履歴・自動ダウンロードなどの設定と、保存失敗後の録音を復旧するためのメタデータをブラウザ内にローカル保存するためのみに使用。外部送信は行わない
`contextMenus`	拡張アイコン（ツールバーアイコン）の右クリックメニューから録音履歴を開く、または最新録音を保存するためのみに使用。Web ページ上の右クリックメニューには項目を追加しません

Data Collection

Tab Sound Recorder does not collect or transmit any personal data. Recorded audio stays entirely within your browser and is never sent to external servers.

Handling of Recorded Audio

All recording is processed locally within your browser
Recorded audio is never sent to any external server
Recorded audio is stored in the extension's local storage (browser IndexedDB) for preview, download, and history display. When recording history is disabled, it is automatically deleted on reset or when a new recording starts. When enabled, up to 10 recordings are retained locally
Intermediate recording data is stored temporarily in the browser's OPFS. After a retryable save failure, it is retained until retry or explicit discard; unreferenced temporary files are removed after a 24-hour grace period. Recovery metadata such as the recording ID and format is stored only in chrome.storage.local within the browser
Waveform data, edit metadata (trim, gain, normalize, compressor, and EQ), and unsaved edit drafts are also stored locally only
The WebAssembly used for MP3 / FLAC encoding is bundled inside the extension package and is not fetched from external servers

Permissions Used

Permission	Purpose
`tabCapture`	Used solely to obtain the audio stream of the target tab
`offscreen`	Used solely to keep recording running in the background
`alarms`	Used solely to maintain scheduled recording across Service Worker restarts
`notifications`	Used solely to display system notifications on recording start and completion
`storage`	Used solely to save user preferences such as language, theme, toolbar behavior, output format, notifications, history, and auto-download, plus metadata needed to recover a recording after a save failure, locally in the browser. No data is sent externally
`contextMenus`	Used solely to open recording history or save the latest recording from the extension icon's toolbar right-click menu. It does not add items to web page context menus
